Random Thoughts: Do You Bit For Charity With Just A Click of A Button!

World Vision is a global 'Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. World Vision serves all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. They helps the poor to help themselves, working with them to build sustainable futures for their children, families and communities through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and promotion of justice.'

Their mission is:
"Our vision for every child, life in all its fullness.

Our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so."

I recently volunteered at World Vision Malaysia, but I'll save those details for another day and post. It is part of a bigger plan of mine.

But where ever you live, you can contribute to this good cause by spending a few seconds of your time. But do hurry as it is only for a limited time.

BROS Malaysia is donating RM 0.50 to World Vision's current Gift of Hope fundraising campaign which aims to help in the purchasing of water and sanitation systems for poor communities in Vietnam. All you have to do is 'LIKE' BROS' Facebook page and that's it! It may not seem like a lot of money but imagine if we doubled BROS' current 5,195 followers (at time of writing), that's almost RM 2598! Now that's a lot of dough!

Please feel free to spread the word about this worthy cause because it doesn't even take a minute of your time. There aren't that many things you can do in a single minute, let alone donate to a charity!

If you're feeling extra generous, do take a look at their Gift of Hope catalogue (I've got one!) where you can donate money for a number of necessities such as Education, Medicine, Mosquito Nets, Animals & Agriculture etc.

You can also go one step further and sponsor a child in a poor country. You only have to donate RM 50 a month to supply a needy child with all the basics. Check it out here! Or here for Chinese!

  2. Hi Nicole,

Thanks for following them. It really doesn't take much effort to help them out. We don't even have to open our purses.
